    Volatility has returned with a vengeance as the Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDEXDJX: ^DJI) crashed 6.9% on Thursday.

    Singapore’s Straits Times Index (SGX: ^STI) also crashed by 3.4% that day to close at the 2,700-mark.

    And yesterday, the market dipped further by around 19 points after recovering from a bruising 90-point drop early in the morning.
